Agricultural Learning Foundation Inc. was co-founded in 1997 by Kandice O'Neal and Kathy Jackson. Their experience working in and volunteering with agricultural programs such as 4-H, FFA, Rodeo Clubs and agricultural programs including those that assist the handicap was the catalyst to the founding of A.L.F. Inc.

Kandice and Kathy both attend Tarleton State University and are Graduates of Baylor University Hankamer School of Business.  

                                                                                                                                         

                                                 Mission

Agricultural Learning Foundation Inc. mission is to help eliminate financial obstacles by giving support to disadvantage youth in Texas who participate in 4H, FFA, also by giving support to agricultural programs targeting disadvantage, handicapped and financially challenged youth without regard to race, sex, religion or national origin.

                                 Programs Services and Benefits

Agricultural Learning Foundation Inc. Program supports disadvantage youth who participate in Texas 4H, FFA, and supports agricultural programs targeting disadvantage, handicapped and financially challenged youth.

A.L.F. Inc. services include donations of the following items such as; but not limited to:

Animal’s feed and hay, equipment to maintain animals before the stock shows.  Meals and travel expense to the stock shows and show cloths for the competition. Transportation of the animals if needed.  Cash for any miscellanies items need for the animals during this period of time.

 A.L.F. Inc. eliminates financial obstacles for disadvantaged agricultural students participating in 4H, FFA and agricultural related programs. By doing so A.L.F.I. reduces the chance of them being eliminated from these program or eliminate the program all together. The time and hard work required of youth to be successful in agricultural programs instills in students respect, responsibility, and time management that builds self-confidence and self-worth. These programs and A.L.F.I. helps to encourage students to give back to their community that gives to them. Other benefits are support for youth programs to expand the quality and number of services the agricultural programs offer to disadvantage and handicapped youth.
